Instructions for a stove like the one I built here

Well, sorta anyway. I didn't use stove pipe, I used all salvaged cans but the photos show those differences.

There are a lot of rocket stove websites that can educate you on building a rocket stove but I'm interested in the "make-do" kind of stoves you might decide to construct in a survival situation or, like this one, just for the fun of it....

Eventually I'll try to get some detailed text or instructions on the page but for now I just needed to get photos up to share with fellow stove enthusiasts.  If you have specific questions you can drop me an

After scrounging around some, I finally found a few old "institutional size" vegetable cans to use as the body of the stove.  The heat and fuel feeding chambers are odds and ends of regular sauce and vegetable cans.
